My Dear Ones, from the high hot desert in a comfy cool house. I am recovering from a cruel fall when my left left just collapsed. I did not hit my head or break or crack any bones which is a great blessing and all tests came AOK!!! But my body twisted as I was protecting myself and Ive had severe back pains. I’m using the walker all the time as my balance is fragile so am very limited in what I can do. I feel sorry for the kids but they make sure my needs are met. I will my nails done at 4, my weekly hair tomorrow. My 2 sons, Tom from the Bay area and Ken from New Hampshire, came last week to check up on me for 3 days, and it felt like a corner of heaven being with 3 of my 4 babes with me. Now my granddaughter is here from Arizona for the week on her work. She works for Wells Fargo and is climbing the ladder and does lots of traveling and I love it when she gets over here. So the kids are going to take advantage and leave Thursday and home Saturday for Sunday. I’ve wanted this for them as they need it. At almost 98 I may never walk without aids again, but what a life I’ve been blessed with. My general health is good. The guest room is still ready and anxiously waiting for you!!! Oh Grandma Irene, I am so sorry to hear that you have had a bad fall! I praise the Lord that no bones were broken – but I am all too familiar with the pain that is associated with the twisting fall. No fun! Praying you get to feeling better soon – so glad family is coming to visit and the kids get a few days for fun! Enjoy and thank you as always for praying – we love you dearly.
